Ready to inspire the next generation of Education Support professionals?

TAFE Queensland North is building a pre-qualified Talent Pool for experienced School Based Education Support practitioners who are passionate about sharing their industry knowledge and developing future workforce talent across the Townsville region.

An order of merit will be established to support future opportunities as they arise.

Through a continuous recruitment and Expression of Interest (EOI) process, you'll have the opportunity to join a pool of industry experts who can step into training delivery when workforce needs emerge.

To be considered, you will need:

a) CHC40221 Certificate IV in School Based Education Support: and

b) Possession of one of the following training and assessment credentials:

  • TAE40122 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
  • TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or
  • TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training or its successor; or
  • TAE50111 TAE50116 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training; or
  • TAE50211 or TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development; or
  • A secondary teaching qualification and one of the following credentials:
    • TAESS00024 VET Delivered to School Students Teacher Enhancement Skill Set or its successor; or
    • TAESS00011 or TAESS00019 Assessor Skills Set or its successor; or
  • Higher level qualification in adult or vocational education (approved by TAFE Queensland); and

c) Current industry skills directly relevant to the training and assessment being provided.

d) Current knowledge and skills in vocational training and learning that informs the training and assessment provided.

e) Evidence of undertaking professional development in the fields of the knowledge and practice of vocational training, learning and assessment including competency-based training and assessment.

TAFE Queensland regularly has vacancies (short and long term) for educators in various qualification delivery areas. This talent pool may be open for up to 12 months and is for opportunities as they become available.
