
The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) is Australia’s central bank and a key economic institution in Australia’s economic architecture. The RBA’s duty is to promote the economic prosperity and welfare of the people of Australia both now and into the future.
The Australian Government is seeking expressions of interest from outstanding leaders to fill vacancies on the RBA Governance Board in 2027 and 2028.
Appointments will be made for terms of up to five years.
The RBA Governance Board Register will be used to identify suitable candidates as vacancies arise.
The ideal candidate is an independent, ethical and strategically minded leader with substantial expertise in at least one of: finance, risk management, technology, business operations or corporate governance.
