Join our tree crew and take pride in working outdoors while caring for the environment. As a Tree Crew Member, you’ll be part of a skilled and supportive team dedicated to maintaining the health, safety and appearance of trees across council assets. From planting and pruning to inspections and removals, your work will directly contribute to the wellbeing and beauty of our community’s green spaces.
This role offers hands-on experience using modern equipment and proven arboriculture techniques. What You’ll Do:
- Carry out a range of tree management activities including planting, pruning, inspection and removal
- Operate specialised arborist equipment such as wood chippers, EWPs, pneumatic saws and climbing gear
- Maintain and enhance the region’s urban forest as part of a skilled and supportive crew
- Work safely, collaboratively and with a strong community mindset
What You’ll Bring:
- Cert III in Arboriculture (or equivalent qualifications)
- Experience in tree climbing, pruning and mechanical equipment operation
- Level 2 First Aid and a Medium Rigid Licence
- A genuine love for working outdoors and being part of a hardworking team
- Reliability, safety awareness and a willingness to learn and grow
