Marketing & Engagement Officer - Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre
Permanent Part Time | $38.57 per hour + super | 0.6 EFT 24 hours per week
An exciting opportunity exists for a creative and community focused Marketing and Engagement Officer to join the team at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre (WPACC).
This role focuses on audience development, education programs, performance engagement and community connection, ensuring WPACCs programs are accessible, engaging and well promoted across the region.
About the role
- Working closely with the Box Office and Ticketing Officer, Venue Manager and front of house team, you will:
- Coordinate school and education programs and school bookings
- Deliver performance engagement and audience development activities
- Develop show promotions, website updates and social media content
- Support the Volunteer Usher Program
- Assist with community hire engagement and communications
- Provide box office support as required
About you
You are an excellent communicator with a passion for the arts, education and community engagement. You are organised, people focused and confident working across digital platforms, schools, volunteers and community stakeholders. Experience in marketing, audience engagement and arts administration will be highly regarded.
