Casual Theatre Technician
Wangaratta, VIC | $41.67 per hour (includes 25% casual loading) + special engagement + super
An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled Casual Theatre Technician to join the Back of House team at the Wangaratta Performing Arts and Convention Centre.
Working in a busy and dynamic environment, you will support the delivery of high quality theatre productions, conferences and business events. The role involves preparing venues for events and performances, as well as bump in and bump out of both small and large scale productions.
The ideal candidate will bring suitable qualifications and or proven experience in theatre operations, with technical skills across lighting, audio, audio visual, staging and mechanist duties. A strong focus on customer service and the ability to work in accordance with industry OH and S standards is essential.
You will be physically fit, adaptable and able to multitask while working to tight timelines. Hours are variable and will include evening and weekend work.
A current Drivers Licence is required. EWP Licence, White Card, Level 2 First Aid and endorsed Rigger and Dogging certificates are desirable.
