Administration Officer – Aged and Community Care

Wangaratta, VIC | Temporary Full Time until March 2027 | $70,017 per annum + super

As an Administration Officer, you will be the friendly, organised backbone of the team, supporting clients, carers and staff while managing a mix of admin, finance and coordination tasks that make a real difference every day.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver timely, respectful and accurate responses to consumer and carer enquiries, ensuring communication reflects a person centred approach.
  • Maintain up to date client information and records in appropriate client management systems.
  • Generate purchase orders, receive and validate accounts to be paid, and process accounts for payment as authorised.
  • Monitor and maintain Associate Provider information to ensure compliance with brokered service agreements and maintain relevant registers.
  • Identify and contribute to the development of new or improved systems, including input into continuous quality improvement processes.
  • Support the coordination of aged care events such as the Seniors Festival to enhance wellbeing, inclusion and consumer engagement.

Who we are looking for

  • Someone who enjoys interacting with a diverse range of people and understands the needs of older individuals, people with complex needs and their carers.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, including well developed computer skills and proficiency with client management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work flexibly with changing schedules.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality
