We’re looking for an energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused person to join our Visitor Services Team—a frontline crew that helps turn travellers into raving fans of the Rural City of Wangaratta.
As a Visitor Services Officer, you’ll be the friendly, knowledgeable face welcoming people to our region and helping them explore the best it has to offer—from iconic attractions and scenic spots to local events, accommodation, and hidden gems.
About the Role
Our Visitor Services Team delivers vital information and inspiration to the thousands of people who visit our area each year. You'll provide assistance at key locations including the Ned Kelly Glenrowan Hub, the Wangaratta Visitor Kiosk, and at off-site venues, events, and exhibitions.
You’ll play a key role in:
- Greeting visitors and offering tailored travel advice
- Promoting regional attractions, events, and tourism experiences
- Providing operational and administrative support at visitor centres and activations
- Supporting events, setting up displays, and maintaining promotional materials
- Helping showcase everything that makes our region unique
