Education Leader - Childrens Services Centre 

Wangaratta, VIC | Permanent Full Time or Part Time | $88,121 per annum + super 

Join our team at the Wangaratta Childrens Services Centre as an Educational Leader and play a pivotal role in shaping high quality early childhood education for our community. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role where your expertise, creativity and passion will directly influence the learning experiences of children and the professional growth of educators.

In this dynamic position, you will work closely with a dedicated team to guide curriculum, strengthen reflective practice and drive continuous improvement across the Centre. You will ensure excellence in line with the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework V2.0, while helping to create an inclusive, safe and inspiring environment for children and families. Your leadership will also support meaningful community engagement and build strong relationships with families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire educators to deliver high quality early learning programs
  • Guide curriculum, planning and documentation aligned with EYLF V2.0 and VEYLDF
  • Drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework
  • Build educator capability through coaching, training and professional development
  • Strengthen community connections and support engagement initiatives
  • Contribute to audits, evaluations and quality processes
  • Promote a safe, inclusive and positive environment for children, families and staff

What We Are Looking For

  • A passionate early childhood professional with strong knowledge of child development and early years frameworks
  • Experience leading or supporting curriculum, planning and educator practice
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills
  • Ability to mentor, motivate and build a positive team culture
  • Strong organisational skills and confidence using digital systems
  • Relevant early childhood qualifications and required checks and training
