Programs Administration Officer 

Wangaratta, VIC | Temporary Part Time (22.8 hours per week until June 2026) | $32.67 per hour + super 

Are you an organised, detail driven professional who loves seeing community programs thrive? The Wangaratta Sports and Aquatic Centre is looking for a proactive Programs Administration Officer to support the delivery of high quality aquatic and recreation programs across our growing precinct.

This newly created role is an opportunity to contribute to one of Victoria’s premier regional sports and events hubs. Working closely with the Community Programs Team Leader and the wider Leadership Team, you will help shape program growth, enhance customer experiences and support the strategic direction of WSAC.

You'll be the go-to person for program administration — managing databases, processing Learn to Swim enrolments, tracking attendance and debtor data, preparing reports and KPIs and supporting marketing initiatives that drive participation in both wet and dry programs. Your ability to stay organised, communicate clearly and deliver exceptional customer service will help our programs run smoothly and continue to grow. 

This temporary position also offers the potential to become permanent, making it a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to build a meaningful career in community recreation. 

What you will be doing

  • Supporting the development of new and innovative community program opportunities
  • Managing enquiries and providing timely, accurate customer service
  • Completing administrative tasks for the Programs Team efficiently and to deadline
  • Processing Learn to Swim enrolments, cancellations and class changes
  • Liaising with instructors to support student progressions
  • Preparing reports, analysing data and monitoring KPIs
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives to grow program participation
  • Contributing to the strategic and operational performance of WSAC as part of the Leadership Team
