Now, we're looking for a motivated and community-minded Waste Services Operator to join our dedicated Waste Services team.
About the role
As a Waste Services Operator, you’ll be on the front line of our kerbside waste and organics collection service—serving both rural and urban households and businesses. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Operating collection vehicles across the municipality
- Providing excellent customer service in the field
- Assisting with landfill operations, transfer station maintenance, and organics processing
- Ensuring our high standards of safety and service are met
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who takes pride in their work, cares about the environment, and thrives in a team setting. Ideally, you will have:
- A current HR licence (essential)
- A clean driving record
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude
- A genuine interest in sustainable waste management
- Great communication and customer service skills
- The ability to start early and work efficiently in the field
- Experience in the waste industry is a bonus, but not essential
