The Opportunity

As a Mower Operator, you’ll be a key player in our team, bringing strong interpersonal and communication skills to the table. You’ll interact with a variety of people, including the general public, while maintaining a professional, safe, and responsible manner at all times.

What You’ll Do:

  • Maintain large and small open space park lawns using mowers and other horticultural machinery.
  • Follow mowing schedules and manage your daily work time efficiently.
  • Ensure all plant, vehicles, and equipment are maintained and operated safely.
  • Apply chemicals and slash roadsides.
  • Complete customer service requests.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience operating front deck mowers, tractors, implements, and zero-turn mowers.
  • A valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • General horticultural knowledge.

Desirable Skills:

  • Victorian MR Truck Licence.
  • Traffic Management Certificate.
  • Herbicide Spraying Licence.
  • First Aid Certificate (Level II).

Work Hours: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
