Role Overview
As a Community Care Worker, you'll provide essential services to community members in their homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist individuals with personal care tasks to help them live independently at home.
- Respite Care: Provide support to regular caregivers by offering temporary care services.
- Domestic Support: Perform domestic tasks based on individual needs to support independent living.
- Skill Enhancement: Encourage and assist individuals in maintaining and improving their skills through a wellness approach.
- Wellbeing Monitoring: Monitor and report on service users' wellbeing and morale, and handle emergencies as per procedures.
- Administration: Manage work schedules using eZitracker, maintain safety of equipment, complete leave forms, access payroll and Council information, and follow directives from the Community Care Team Leader.
- Quality Improvement: Identify opportunities for quality improvement and contribute to program reviews and development.
