The Opportunity 

Do you have a passion for working through technical requirements and assisting customers through their subdivision obligations? The Rural City of Wangaratta are looking for an Assistant Planner for processing subdivisions, road naming applications, and providing reporting and administrative support to the planning team. This role will also provide support for our growth area planning, particularly managing the collection of developer contributions. As the Rural City of Wangaratta grows, we are working to improve our growth area and subdivisions processes to streamline planning services. This role is perfect for someone looking to expand their skills and assist our planning team to meet their statutory obligations. This role will work closely with the statutory planning team but also liaise with other internal Council units. Flexible working arrangements are available, and this role is primarily based in the Wangaratta office.
