Media and Communications Coordinator

$83,063pa + super

The Media and Communications Coordinator is responsible for delivering all media and communication activities across the Rural City of Wangaratta Council to effectively execute our core marketing and communications strategies. The position focuses on developing and promoting targeted media and communication campaigns, including the coordination and engagement of Council's social media platforms, websites, media materials, publications, and other communications collateral.

The role is also responsible for establishing and strengthening positive and open communication channels with internal and external stakeholders including local media agencies, all organisational levels, partner agencies, relevant government departments and the wider community.
