Accountant

Temporary Full Time (until June 2024)

$80,643pa+ super

The Rural City of Wangaratta is looking for an Accountant to provide effective and efficient accounting services in accordance with accounting standards and statutory obligations. You will be responsible for working with the financial team to ensure all of councils business and statutory obligations are accurately completed on time.

Examples of duties include BAS filing, annual financial statement reporting and the audit process, budgeting, performance reporting and the Victorian Grants Commission return. A professional accounting designation (CA, CPA) is highly desired for the position.
