Financial Controller

Full time, with great flexible working arrangements available.

$100,885 pa + super (negotiable based on experience).

The Rural City of Wangaratta are seeking a Financial Controller to oversee the organisation's accounting services. This role offers a fantastic career opportunity to develop towards a Finance Manager position.

You will be responsible for the delivery of quality financial accounting and reporting services, including annual budgets and financial statements. You will supervise, coach, develop and motivate the accounting and accounts payable team to foster a high performing team environment.

You will have strong knowledge and experience as a user and administrator of corporate finance systems, in addition to an inherent drive for pursing continuous improvement of systems and processes.

To be successful in this role you will have degree level accounting qualifications, membership of a professional accounting body and experience leading an accounting team.
