Trainee - Horticulture

Full Time - 2 years 

We are excited to appoint a Trainee Gardener who aspires to learn all about horticulture and desires to make a significant contribution to some of our best presented and highest profile parks, gardens and streetscapes in Wangaratta.  Council is seeking a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude who is customer focused and demonstrates initiative and drive in an outdoor environment. 

The position will required you to attend Tafe and obtain Certificate III in Horticulture and you will obtain practical experience whilst undertake garden development and maintenance while ensuring the appearance of public areas continues to be maintained to a high standard in Council parks and garden areas.
